Motoskies — Privacy Policy

Motoskies is an iOS app that overlays weather conditions on road routes. This page describes what data is processed and how.
Data collected
Location The app requests “while in use” location access solely to pre-fill the route starting point. Your location is never stored, sent to our own servers, or shared with third parties. All processing happens on your device.
Saved routes Favourite routes you choose to save are stored locally on your device using system preferences (UserDefaults). They are never uploaded to any server.

Waypoint coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo to retrieve weather data. Open-Meteo requires no registration and does not track users.
Data not collected
- No personal data (name, email, account)
- No advertising identifiers
- No analytics or telemetry
- No cookies or web tracking
- No communication with proprietary servers
Your rights
You can revoke location permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Motoskies. Saved routes can be deleted directly in the app.
